Hi there! My name is Sara, I'm a recent college grad with dreams of medical school to become a pediatrician. I decided to take a year off for the application process, so I find myself in my home state of Vermont for the time being. I majored in Biology with minors in Spanish and Chemistry and was a tutor at the college level. For the younger kids this could mean introducing Spanish skills early on and for the older ones I am available for homework help in most STEM subjects and Spanish! My experience with babysitting started at age 12 and has only grown since then. I am comfortable with all ages ranging from new borns to 14-year-olds not quite ready to tackle the responsibility of caring for younger siblings. I have gained extensive experience aiding my mother with an in-home daycare as well as babysitting jobs out of the Read more home. I am CPR certified for infants, children, and adults as well as basic first aid certified because safety is always a priority. No matter the activity- hiking, arts & crafts, or just playing in the backyard- it is important to be prepared for the situation at hand. I love finding what the kids are most excited about and letting them choose activities! In the past this has meant being very adaptable because for some kids this means a visit to the library, others it means a fast-paced game of tag, and for others baking! And when they aren't quite old enough for all of this it means finding the toy that best captures that teething tot's attention the best. For older families, I no longer leave my house without Uno Attack- it has become a demand from many of the kids I have babysat for in the past and is one of my favorites.
