Hi, I'm Daylee! I'm currently a college student and will be starting my junior year at WWU spring quarter and am interested in studying communication studies. I'm outgoing, positive, and always smiling. I am highly responsible and have demonstrated this through my school work and previous childcare experience. I understand how important it is for families to have reliable care they can trust for their kids, which is why I assure you I would be consistently dependable and keep your child's happiness and safety as my upmost priorities. I am also adult and pediatric first aid, AED/CPR certified. I have previous experience working with kids ages 6-13 in an after school program run through the City of Kent, as well as experience babysitting my cousin (from age 7-8). I worked for the City of Kent for two years, and was sad to go, but had to leave because I recently Read more moved to Bellingham. In my position, I was responsible for planning and leading games and activities, engaging with the kids, addressing behavior issues and safety concerns, and making sure they had fun. During holiday breaks, we also had a day camp that I worked at, which included arts and crafts, sports, recreational games, and other activities. The program was run by myself and one other youth leader and a supervisor. Because of working with such a small team, it was essential we were all dependable and had strong self-management skills. I love people and would most definitely be considered an extrovert, I have high motivation and determination, so when I start something I set my mind to finish it, and I LOVE reading!
