My name is Kamaljeet Sekhon. I have lived in Everett, WA for last 16 years. I am originally from India. I hold a masters degree and have worked as an elementary teacher for over 15 years back in India. After moving to US, I worked at Lynnwood Walmart for 5 years. The I was a 7-eleven store owner in Everett for 5 years. My store was not able to sustain the recession and hence I gave up on that. Following that I worked as a manager at a friend's gas station for a year. Apart from my work history, I have two daughters, both are well educated and married. Education has always been my foremost priority. Both my daughters hold good higher up positions in reputable companies. I have a son who also has found his ambition in life and moved on. With grace of God I have been blessed Read more with 5 lovely grandkids who initially grew up under my care from our residence in Everett. I miss my kids and grand kids a lot and I feel like the thing that makes me happiest is being around children. I love to watch them grow. I have always believed that more attention we pay to the kids, the better and caring humans they grow up to be. Therefore, here I am looking for a full time position to help a family who might be looking for someone responsible and educated to look after their children. I understand how important it is for parents to have some one they can trust and have around their biggest investment "their children" . I would like to take this opportunity to work with one such family. I can also help out with light house hold work. I have throughout my life been drug free, alcohol free, smoke free, clean driving record. I am also willing to go for any background checks to make you feel that you have the best person around your children. I can also drive your children to school and back. I will have to take them out to nearby parks or any extracurricular activities they might be enrolled in. I have my own car and can use it for short travel distances per your convenience.
