We are looking for a reliable, caring person to provide approximately 2 hours of in-home assistance each day for an older adult who needs some help with daily activities and moving safely around the home. He has arthritis and it is difficult for him to get around the apartment.

Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with getting around the home, including to and from the kitchen and bathroom
Preparing or warming up simple meals and snacks and bringing food or drinks as needed
Making sure water and other necessities are within easy reach
Providing light housekeeping, such as washing dishes, wiping counters, tidying the kitchen and living areas, taking out trash, and light laundry
Helping keep frequently used areas organized and safe
Providing companionship and general assistance during the visit
Helping with small household tasks that may be difficult for the individual to complete independently
