Over the past 10 years I have helped take care of my elderly parents and my husband's elderly mother and step-father. I am an intelligent, positive, supportive and kind soul who respects my elders while understanding they can no longer care for themselves safely. I am a good companion and a natural born 'people person'. I am retired from a career of business administration, but need to supplement my social security income. I can think of no more fulfilling way to earn a wage than to be a companion/helper to another person. I have no formal training or certifications, so I would not be able to provide nursing care; but I have a good head on my sholders and can be trusted to help care for normal day to day needs of someone who cannot safely be left alone.
