I am a college-educated veteran and I love working with seniors. I am experienced with various medical and mental conditions in people of all ages, and I am skilled and patient. I have a couple of friends who are senior citizens, including a widowed friend of mine who did not drive that I drove to church each week. I also would take her out to eat and shopping. My grandmother and I take trips to the salon, stores and restaurants several times per week, as well as playing Scrabble together. I believe in treating seniors with dignity and the respect that they deserve. I also helped care for one of my closest friends while she was passing of kidney cancer; between her other friends and her family, we would dress her, feed her, bathe and provide for her other needs, and stay with her around the clock.

I interviewed Ms. Allen for a position that an extended family member has open for a senior caregiver, since hiring her for petsitting and finding her to be reliable. I will update this review if she is hired but during the interview, what impressed me is her background in senior services, both as a student and as an employee.
I found Michelle to be personable, happy, and reliable, and quick in responding. She is truly caring toward animals and people! I would recommend her as a sitter and plan to contact her whenever I need a sitter for my pooch.
