I've honestly been in the medical field since the age of 12, working that summer filling out children's immunization forms for the pediatric office where my mother worked ( her employer Dr. Amino thought that I was very bright and offered me the position). From there to Red Cross the summer of age 14. Then by age 16, I took care of my aging grandfather. After my grandfather passed, I so deeply missed him and began looking for other people to take care of to fill the void. I eventually began to realize that I have a passion for taking care of people. So as far as experience goes, I would have to say, I've been a caregiver for about 30 years. I just recently ( Monday) lost my last client that I was with for 8.5 years.
