I became a care companion when a family member became ill. I found that I loved the work and the satisfaction of taking care of someone and helping them to care for themselves. I have over 25 years experience and have worked in many settings such as home, hospital, nursing facility, and rehab settings. I am CPR certified and have had a recent negative TB test. I have experience with Tracheotomys, PEG tubes, wound care, and all aspects of dementia.
