My name is Amanda Thompson. I am married, and have a son that's 15 year old son. I am a graduate from Wallace College, with my associates in child care. I've been in child care for 7 years . I have my CPR training, and first aid.. I started out setting with my gran is was 70, and had dementia. I would help her bath, give medications, cook, clean, tidy up for her, and checked sugar/blood pressure. This went on for 2half years. I felt honored to help her with anything. Care giving is a calling for me. After my Gran passed , I started seating with another elderly lady that has dementia to. I've been seating with her for over a year now.
