After looking after my mother with cancer for 3 years, my husband got diagnosed with Alzheimer's and I looked after him for 5 years until his death in 2004. I, then, worked as a secretary for several years until I got a job looking after an elderly couple. I took them to the doctor, made them breakfast & lunch, cleaned their house, helped them dress and with their walkers and did basically anything else they needed to do.
I love caring for elderly. Its a passion I have. After going through so much with my mother & husband, I understand how hard it can be and am sympathetic to that.
