I have taken care of my Mother for 5 years preceding her passing at age 89.
I recently took care of my close friend for 1 month after she had a Kidney Transplant. I was with her 24 hours a day and supervised her medications. I also drove her to Kidney Clinic appointments as well as other doctor appointments. I shopped and cooked for her.
Several years ago I took care of another friend when she was released from a Rehab Facility. She was a severe diabetic and required 2 insulin shots a day. She also was a stroke victim who was confined to a wheelchair and I assisted her 24 hours a day. I assisted her when she needed to go to the bathroom during the day and night. I also drove her to doctor appointments as neeeded. I shoppped, cooked and did laundry for her.
