Having been in Geriatric Healthcare as an Administrator I have trained others in many aspects of senior care. I have had hands on experience ranging from assisted living , dementia and alzheimer's care. The requirements for quality of care included; background checks, fingerprinting, CPR and first aid.
I personally have cared for elderly loved ones on a 24/7 basis giving personal care and assistance with the activities of daily living. These duties can include; medication management, monitoring of medications to make sure there are no adverse side effects, assisting with meal planning and preparation, household duties of cleaning and laundry, running errands, medical appointments. Also, I can assist with any pets or their appointments as well.
I am a compassionate fun-loving caregiver. I thoroughly enjoy assisting our precious seniors with the same love and care that I have given to my own loved ones. I believe in honoring their dignity and independence with the respect they deserve.
