Hello! My name is Matt. :) I love Jesus and I love serving people! I have been married to an incredible woman named Tina for 10 years and we have two fun-loving children, Evan (7) and Olivia (6). I currently serve part-time as a Church Planter with e3 Partners Ministry, leading teams of Americans over to Tanzania, East Africa (two 10-day trips each year) to share the gospel, begin discipling new believers and planting new churches. I absolutely love doing this and am beyond thankful for all our supporters, but we are needing to supplement our income since it is only part-time work...so, I am searching for a complimentary additional position in another fulfilling field I love—caregiving! My hope is that both positions will work well alongside each other, long-term.

I do have a lot of experience working with a variety of disabilities. Immediately prior to my role as a Church Planter, I spent 7 years at a non-profit organization called Employment & Community Options (in San Diego) where I served adults with developmental disabilities (Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, Autism, mental retardation, etc.). While at this organization, I had ample experience supervising, teaching and mentoring small groups of individuals with unique needs, as well as assisting with feeding and restrooming requirements. I also maintained CPR/First Aid certifications for the entirety of this period.

Throughout my time and progressive positions at E&CO, I continually built strong relationships with our clients based on respect, courtesy, patience and humor. In fact, I am still in contact with clients I began working with 8 years ago! One of them texts me whenever the Diamondbacks are playing the Padres or the Cardinals are playing the Chargers! :)
