I have raised two beautiful, respectful, and independent 20 years olds on my own with the dedicated help of other family members. I now have the desire to dedicate my time and energy, my two extra hands, my caring and genuine heart, my love for reading and education, my sense of humor, my creative energy, my love of the outdoors and sports, and my ethics and values to help another family raise and support their child(ren).
Some of my life experiences include the following...being a National Park Ranger in Alaska, substitute teaching and special programs Pre-K through High School, teaching craft and cooking classes, 15 years experience in law enforcement and security. I have a love for the elderly, as well as children, and enjoy residing in a retirement community. I have a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. I am CPR certified and have experiences in responding to emergency situations.
I enjoy eating healthy, exercising, arts and crafts, nature, music, humor, animals and helping others.
At 47 years of age, I have the energy and time to dedicate to a family needing help raising their special loved ones.
