I have been a caregiver for 13 years. I have worked in assisted living, and private care. I also worked in the infirmary in a convent for retired sisters. Being a caregiver is my passion and it gives me such great satisfaction making people happy and showing them love and friendship. I am a certified CNA and assisted people in ADL, grooming, bathing, etc. I was also a med tech. It is truly a rewarding experience seeing smiles on faces and bonding with those you care about. Growing up as a teen ager many years ago I cared for my grandma. She was a gem and I loved her dearly. She instilled in me what it would be like to care for others and I thank her for leading me in the right career decision.
