Jannie’s Bio
I have been a certified nursing assistant since March, 1994. I received my training and certification at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran and Retirement Home located in Ohio, where I was tested on site on my written and clinical knowledge skills. Since then, I have remained on the Ohio State Board Nursing Registry in good standing. I just recently relocated to Scottsdale Arizona from Ohio and am currently in the process of transferring/Endorsing my license to Arizona State Board of Nursing Registry. My experience over the years include but are not limited to, Long-term healthcare working with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Lupus, MS-Multiple Sclerosis Disease and strokes. Short-term healthcare and rehabilitation, falls, strokes, hip and knee replacement's, and fractures. Special fields of work, Brain injuries, Cancer, Hospice and patients that suffered injuries due to Agent Orange Chemical. I became a nursing assistant because I am very compassionate and passionate about caring for others. I have family members whom were stricken with some of the illnesses mentioned above including my mother and I was her caregiver. Being a caregiver is more than just a job for me, it's about making a difference in someone's LIFE!
