Growing up I watched my grandmother go through a hard time and I wasnt old enough to help her, by the time I was in 7th grade I knew nursing is what I wanted to do with my career life. I was working for All Valley Healthcare but when the healthcare laws changed and you had to become certified I had to find another job because I could not afford to go to the classes and they wouldnt pay for me to go. I currently work at Boswell Hospital as a housekeeper and in 6 months they will help me go through nursing school. I have a heart of gold, I love being able to provide help or just companionship to others, I have cared for others since 8th grade- mostly within the family, but for 2 years outside of family, in fact I was also the only hoyer trained caregiver in the west valley for All Valley so I generally worked 60 hours a week.
