Oldest daughter with one younger brother. Born into a family with serious life-threatening health issues within the families of both parents.
Experienced with hospital stays of sick relatives and care-giving when family members were released for home-care.
These early experiences created astute observation abilities of those I was caring for and others within the family structure that I have been able to use throughout my life within a variety of situations in my day jobs, in my volunteer work as a First Aid Provider and as I was raising my children as a single parent.
Married to a husband who became seriously ill with complications from Diabetes, developed an enlarged heart due to the ill-health stress created by extremely poor eating habits. I was his stay-at-home Caregiver for five years with Power of Attorney to handle all of his financial affairs and medical care when he unexpectedly died of a heart attack in his sleep.
Due to my compassion as a Caregiver, I became an ordained Chaplain. I have Certifications and training as a First Responder from the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, and the C.E.R.T. Program also known as Community Emergency Response Team in Costa Mesa. These and other Certifications are available on request.
Briefly, I'm looking to move to Yorba Linda, CA, as a live-in part time Family Home Care / Care Giver.
I have a flexible, part time job in Yorba Linda by the Yorba Linda High School Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and am able to work on-site at their office location or at my home location using a company laptop. I'm also a Widow on a fixed Social Security income each month.
All that to say that I have a flexible schedule and possibly we might be able to work out a financially-compatible situation to benefit both of us.
