Arlene has been watching our daughter several times a month for about 9 months now. She's very kind and trustworthy, and our daughter gets excited when we tell her that Arlene is coming over to take care of her. This is our only child, so it wasn't easy for us to get comfortable with the idea of leaving her with a stranger. We feel incredibly blessed to have found Arlene. It's a great comfort to know we're leaving our daughter in such good hands. They don't sit around and watch a lot of television. Most of the time, I come home to find them playing, either outside or in our daughter's room. Arlene is punctual and responsible and, most importantly, she seems to genuinely care, and that means the world to us.

I hired Arlene as a date night sitter. She met my kids ahead of time and brought her certifications to go over. She gave me her references as well. Arlene answered all my questions not only about her qualifications but about Sittercity as well. On our date my kids had a great time. My kids went to bed happily and did not cry at all. The next day they couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had. I was worried that there would be a struggle because my kids were nervous about having a babysitter. i got home and found out she even arranged my kids pillows and washed a couple stray dishes.
i was very happy with our experience.
