Although I have not been "trained" to do this kind of work, I have a great compassion and camaraderie with those in their senior years and have cared for several people, including my Father, who had dementia.

I know a degree in this kind of work has it's certain expertise, but I think what is most needed is simply, compassionate attention, patience, kindness and a calm that is beneficial to those that are in need of that ambience.

I have always had a special connection with the elderly in that I share similar interests like the music of Glenn Miller, Nat King Cole or Harry James, appreciating an interesting conversation, a stroll around a beautiful garden or enjoying television programs like “The Honeymooners” rather than so much of what is popular today. And with that, somewhat recreating a simpler life, something that they are much more able to relate to and are comfortable with.

Having an organizational management company, I am also well skilled in managing and coordinating any situation that might arise in any area of personal assisting and home organization. And in being meticulous, efficient and dependable, I've always had the innate ability to accomplish the task at hand, manage and/or handle the organization and the coordinating of both business and personal affairs, travel arrangements or social planning.
