Tanya’s Bio
I have been a caregiver in one form or another for approximately 20 years from sitting for a combination of family members ranging from toddlers to elderly and directing children and youth activities at my church. I have prepared meals, organized play times, and transported children and youth to their extracurricular activities as well as assisted with homework. I have recently completed Hospice volunteer training and volunteer as a companion for hospice clients, as well. Regardless of the age, I keep clients engaged mentally, physically, or both. Additionally, I am able to speak intermediate Spanish and am able to conduct business as well as social conversations in Spanish.
I am currently a returning student in the pre-nursing concentration. I have a Bachelor's in Health Services Administration, which consequently gave me a strong background in health education and prevention. During my undergraduate studies, I also completed a Medical Assisting program, as well. I am currently enrolled in a Pharmacy Technician program while waiting to be accepted into a local RN program.
Enjoy life~
