I am a former licensed school teacher who has been taking care of my elderly parents the past two years. I have learned a lot about dementia and Alzheimer's disease while on this journey. I like to listen to music, color, paint, work in the garden, go for walks and do puzzles and games. I've found that being engaged in activity is beneficial. I'd like to assist other families with their loved ones on a part time basis as I am still caring for my own parents. I cannot be in a home with cats or smoke.
