I’ve worked at a senior home for three years. My job duties consisted of bathing, cleaning, bathroom assistance, meal preparation, transportation, and monitoring medication. I’ve dealt with patients with dementia and Alzheimer’s and although it may seem hard it is the most amazing job I’ve ever had. It is great to be somebody’s companionship and having fun while doing so. I am passionate for what I do therefore seeing them enjoy themselves makes my day.
