Dina’s Bio
As a single mother of 4 and being raised in a military household, cooking and cleaning were always the main focus in my household. I have been cleaning house since I was about 5 years old and I began cooking when I was 8. By the age of 12 I was taking taxis to and from the local commissary and grocery shopping on my own for my family and learned how to bargain shop and budget the household expenses. By the age of 15 I had left home and took up housecleaning since I wasn't yet old enough to work. I would also babysit for some of the families I cleaned for. I started my own family when I was 18 when I had my first son, who is now 22. While my two older boys were infants, i wound up moving into my grandfather's home to take care of him as Alzheimer's began to take it's toll on him, and his ability to live alone and care for himself quickly diminished. I took care of him for close to 3 years until we finally had to hire in home nurses to continue his care. Of my 4 children, only 2 of them are still children, my youngest son and only daughter. They are 16 and 11 and are at school all day during the week. Right now I'm between jobs and I'm looking for anything that will help out in the meantime so, figured I'd go back to what comes naturally...
Cooking, cleaning, and babysitting, and caring for those who can't care for themselves 😊
