Gayle’s Bio
I became a caregiver because I wanted to help others who could not help themselves. I have always cared to make sure my patients are comfortable. I loved my job because of the positive feedback from my patients. If I could ease their suffering or make them feel comfortable, I would feel better. I am well organized, self-directed, take initiative, and dedicated to my work. My job history is 30yrs. of medical and surgical nursing. Caregiver includes employment at Hayward Convalescent Hospital 1971-1975. A.A. degree in Nursing 1982. Employment at Valley Memorial Hospital 1978-1996. Employment at Feather River Home Care 2001-2005. I had a spinal deformity which caused back and hip pain and eventually had to go on disability. I walk with a cane and drive, perform most activities except heavy lifting. I live with my husband, grown son, and 1 dog. I am friendly, honest, and caring. I always perform to the best of my ability. Currently a volunteer through Feather River Hospital. I enjoy reading, writing short stories, swimming, walking, cooking, and visiting with son.
