Since April of 2012, I've been caring for the aging and elderly through IHSS. Working with patients from Cerebral Palsy to PSP, a rare brain disorder, I've learned to develop a sense of comfortability and patients with my clientele. I've learned that not any one person is the same from the last and that's special because that's what make people who they are, and I enjoy getting to know my clients on a personal level and having them confide in someone who they feel comfortable enough to do so with. That's why I am a Caregiver. It's truly a blessing, the people I get to work with; the people I get to know, and their families. I've been doing this for 4 years now, and enjoy it very much. I can't see myself doing anything else- it's what I'm here for! :)
