Hello!
I am Alison, and am a 35 year old HR professional who has worked in corporate America for 14 years. After working 60-80 hours on average pr/week for extensive amounts of time, I faced corporate burn out. I saved some $$$, and decided to take a hiatus from my HR career indefinitely. I had never not worked since I graduated from college in 2003, and I was fortunate enough to leave my career voluntarily in June, and travel the world for a couple months. I love HR, and the biggest reason why is because I am very much a people person/extrovert. That being said, I am hoping to explore work outside of the corporate grind where I can utilize my strengths.
I have extensive care companion experience, and really love working with the disabled/elderly. I also love animals! Being in HR for many years, I hope is that this is a testament to my character. I (& my dept) were the role models for the entire organization in terms of professionalism, appropriate code of conduct, reliability, etc.
I am single with no kids as I have been so focused on my career, and spent years traveling for work. I am available for part time or full time work. I am very flexible, and my hope would be to find a family I can establish a great relationship with built on trust.
