I am a patient and healthy 46 year old.

My experience with elder adults is that which I took on only to be helpful. When living in Lake Tahoe, I met a woman in her late 80's that just needed a little help and companionship. The environment is very difficult in this part of the country. I would visit her and eat with her and help her to do little household chores that were difficult for her to do. There was also snow removal that had to be done. I have no resume for this because it has been something I just spontaneously do.

I also helped a man in his 90's in Santa Monica. He had difficulty walking and so I would come and do his laundry and make his bed and sometimes help him with meals.

I recently graduated from Acupuncture school and treated many older adults in our clinic. I am very aware of nutrition and health. I also am a very patient and good listener. My calm demeanor is very soothing and I am a naturally cheerful person. I love to read books aloud and also go on walks. I am concerned with the total health of individuals which includes spending time outside, stimulating the mind, and eating nutritiously.
