Hello, my name is Kathie! I am originally from Fresno, but moved to the bay area to attend SFSU about three years ago. I recently received a BS in Health Education and moved to Rohnert Park with my boyfriend for a new adventure.
For the past two summers I have worked at a camp in Santa Cruz for children and adults with special needs. As a counselor I cared for (feed, bathed, bunked with, and entertained) these amazing campers and gained so much experience from this. I did things I did not think I could do and it made me so much stronger as a person! We had many sessions that only had older campers (up to 65) and so I have gained a lot of experience in this field and would love to do more.
I look forward to hearing from you!
