I have had the privilege of providing compassionate care to clients ranging in age from 18-80 in a number of settings including in home, residential substance abuse treatment and psychiatric care facilities. I have always been passionate about helping people and have found a way to channel that energy into my career as well. My experience includes providing after care in home for individuals returning from treatment (substance abuse and psychiatric.) Helping those individuals find a sense of balance and consistency w/ a healthy and happy lifestyle after retruning home. This includes meal preparation (often together), walks or exercise, medication management, encouraging reading and other hobbies to find fulfillment, and meditation or daily reflection readings to set an intention for the day. Every client is different and I believe that there are always opportunities to provide support in a way that works best for each clients individual needs.
