Kristine did a fantastic job of coming over to take care of our two cats while recently away. She was very easy to get in touch with and was very responsive from the first message throughout our time away.
She went above and beyond our expectations in terms of playing, cleaning the litter boxes, and brushing our cats.
Leaving our two cats at home is always the most difficult part of any trip, but Kristine provided great peace of mind. I will surely be using again and I highly recommend Kristine.
We recently booked Kristine to care for our cat, Zetha, while we were on vacation for two weeks. She is a consummate professional, and from the first interview she immediately put me at ease with her kind and gentle demeanor. She had no difficulty getting along with Zetha who can be exceedingly shy with strangers. Kristine has knack for reading cats and knew just how to approach Zetha and managed to get to know her eccentricities and adapted quickly.
While we were away, Kristine visited Zetha daily, kept her company, fed her exactly according to her "diet" , kept her litter boxes clean and even managed to get her to play (not a small feat with our low energy 11 year old cat). Kristine was also wonderful about taking in our mail, our garbage and watering our lawns. She checked in with us via email every two days or so to let me know how things were going. Dealt with Zetha's bouts of "grumpy" without complaint, and when we came home, the house was in perfect order; Zetha was happy, healthy and clean and acting like she'd had her own little vacation!
Kristine is diligent, reliable and really skilled with animals and humans alike. I recommend her without reservation. If you need to leave your pets and don't want to worry about them while you're gone, Kristine will make that happen for you.
Sincerely,
Laura Kerschenbaum-Jensen
Kristine has done two jobs for us now. She did such a great job taking care of our two cats for 10 days during our first trip early this summer that we hired her again to care for our cats while we were away on another trip for 4 weeks. One of our cats is pregnant, so I had to be sure to find someone I could trust to show up as scheduled and to take good care of them. When we returned, it was obvious that she had kept up with everything… washing and refilling the water fountain, cleaning the food dishes, cleaning out the litter box, and brushing the cats. I felt I could completely depend on Kristine to handle any of our cats' needs. We will definitely call on her next time we travel!
Kristine's communication was prompt and courteous and she arranged to care for our cat at short notice. She is reliable and dedicated and we had no reservations with the care she gave our cat while away.
