Lorie’s Bio
My experience with senior care includes working as a physical therapy aide at a physical therapy clinic with job responsibilities that focused on teaching elderly patients every aspect of their exercise rehabilitation protocol in addition to setting up all modalities of treatment for back, neck, shoulder and lower extremity injuries.
Additionally, I volunteered for 7 years at the Poway Senior Center, for their home delivered meals program. My favorite part of this program was getting the opportunity to share quality time with the seniors, hearing all their amazing stories, and developing wonderful friendships with them!
My college background is in the education field with 16 units at USC grad school in the Master of Teaching program. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified!
My personality is upbeat and positive with a lot of patience and empathy! I do have performance reports and written references that will confirm how much the physical therapy patients enjoyed developing a relationship and working with me at the clinic!
