I am a mother of two daughters, ages 24 and 21. I have a Master of Social Work degree. I have been formally caregiving since last Fall, and have elderly clients, as well as many families with children, that I assist.
Before my current experiences as a care companion, I found myself stepping in to naturally assist elderly family members and neighbors. I have no formal training or certifications, and find that being present, attentive, engaged and supportive as I work with individuals (big or small) is just a natural way of being that I bring.
I am suited best to assist individuals with transportation, errands, light tidying up and simple meal preparation.
