Hello! My name is Melanie. I'm 24 years old and am currently a nursing student looking to graduate with my BSN. When I was 19, I spent about a year and a half as a caregiver for an elderly woman who was diagnosed with dementia and diabetes and her husband who struggled with ambulation. This was a very proud period of my life and is what made me fall in love with nursing and decided to further my education by obtaining my BSN. Since then, I've worked retail/food industry jobs that were more flexible with my class schedule. However, I'd love to return back to the realm of helping people in a personal and meaningful way.

I am CPR certified and have my Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card.
