I started some caregiving with my parents. I then took a job at a senior living coop. I was the in house supervisor, concierge and regularly helped Athens residents. That was five years. In Cape Cod Ma. I then took a job taking care of a Minister that had Parkinson’s in Palm Springs. I went back to Cape Cod and took care of a very good friend that had MS. for over 4 yrs. She then was so debilitated that I no longer could pick her up of the floor. So she went to a MS Home in Boston.
I came to California to be closer to my granddaughters. So now I get up every morning and go to their home and help with getting them to school. I love children and I enjoy having art projects with them. I am an artist. I worked in NYC as a Prop Master and built props and costumes for Broadway. Being an after school nanny seems like the right fit.
