I have worked in the direct care field for several plus years. I have experience working with children, adolescents,and adults who have developmental disabilities. I have also worked with geriatric consumers and also have experience working with individuals who are physically disabled. I became a care companion after my niece was born with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Cerebral Palsy. I wanted to learn how to facilitate her needs in the way that she deserves so I started my CNA and from there entered into college for a degree in Human Services. I have also obtained certifications in the mental health field.
