I consider myself a caregiver ever since I was a young child. I always had the heart and compassion for others. I volunteered at humane societies, nursing homes, and even babysat around my neighborhood. My first time volunteering at a nursing home, was when I was 13. I went with my school to paint with them, and hang out. I was one of fewer children that actually enjoyed spending time with the elders because I wasn't afraid to communicate with them, and actually make them feel that they've got a friend in me. Ever since my experience, I haven't stopped volunteering. I am very outgoing, I am very empathetic and understanding and a great listener. Being kind and compassionate to others doesn't require an age or certification, it comes from the heart.
