I have no formal experience. I have had people let me help with their parents during times of recovery, just during the day and helping with errands and being company. I have had 2 clients that had varying levels of dementia and I’m very patient with repetitive questions, confusion and anti-social qualities. I cared for my father on weekend when allowed to take him from a dementia facility. I fed him, dressed him, bathed him, changed diapers and most everything else. I do prefer to only do the intimately personal care for women. Although I have no formal experience, my love of people let’s me be a good fit for some elderly or impaired people who just need help.
