I had been looking online and had become aware of the opening position. I believe that I would be a great candidate for this position due to my experience, determination, hard work, and effort I have towards what I do.

My degree in Communications and my minor in ASL from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs have prepared me to communicate effectively with verbal and non-verbal communication. The skills I have obtain as a Communication major lead me to work as a receptionist at the College of Education: greeting people with a positive attitude and answering questions in person and through phone calls in a professional approach. My previous supervisor at COE describes me as “willing to learn and take on challenges,” and I consider my eagerness to try different tasks as one of my strengths in order to complete the projects given. At the same time I worked at the YMCA Child Watch , which I was able to take care of children and engage with them. I made play dough, sing songs,think of games, and theme ideas. I was also a companion for a student with disability in which I write notes for her during class.
My perseverance and aspiration to learn, help, grow, and understand through different lenses are qualities that makes me a candidate for the position. Thank you for your time and I am looking forward to discussing with you more on the experiences and qualifications for this position.
