Hello, my name is Krissy Sterner I am 49, married and have four adult children! I am a licensed social worker in the state of Corado. I have an undergraduate degree in psychology (minor child development) from Regis and a masters degre in Social Work from the University of Denver! I have held various positions as a palliative care social worker, County Caseworker and teen pregnancy counselor! Before getting my Masters degree I ran an in home licensed daycare for ten years! When I was a Caseworker I struggled with the fact that Colorado does not have enough foster homes! I often could not find a home in which siblings could be placed together. For this reason my husband and I decided to become certified foster parents! Over the last two years my husband and I have fostered 7 children! These children came to us with severe trauma and required 100% of my time! I love the work! Our oldest son and his wife just had their first child and we will be watching the baby on Thursdays. We are very excited! I need to find work that can be flexible with this schedule! I am a certified foster parent in the state of Colorado. Meaning I have already had all of the necessary background checks and am CPR and first aid certified. I drive a Late model Mercedes ML 350 and have a perfect driving record!
