I worked as a support staff for adults with disabilities since 2013 and absolutely loved helping the individuals and seeing them thrive. I learned early on that the little things make all the difference; a smile or a wave, a simple compliment, a listening ear, or maybe a hug or a high-five. The more positive and upbeat I was, the happier my individuals were. This year I began working PCA jobs where I felt I could better serve the individuals I work with due to the 1:1 setting, instead of a 1:6 ratio at the day program. I am CPR and first aid certified and am very kind and caring though also knowledgeable and trustworthy. Any questions or concerns feel free to ask!
