Amy’s Bio
I've worked with seniors one-on-one in their homes and in facilities for five years. I did recreation on a dementia unit for two years. I also have two years working with someone with severe COPD. I enjoy working with seniors, especially those with dementia, using my skills to address individual needs and connect on every level possible (verbally, visually, intellectually, musically, recalling memories of days gone by).
I've been lucky to have worked with several wonderful clients and their wonderful and supportive families; I hope to find another one. I have references from families I have worked for and hope that I can help meet your needs and those of your loved one. I am extremely flexible in scheduling, that hopefully reaches your needs and mine.
I have a graduate degree in computers, and an undergraduate in Liberal Arts. I enjoy reading, current events, travel, playing bridge or gin rummy, and being with my horse!
