I have worked as a massage therapist for the past 20 years. During that time I have had and currently have elderly clients who I work on weekly or bi-weekly. I was a volunteer massage therapist for Hospice of SE CT 1995-1996. During that time I provided massage therapy for terminally ill patients. I worked as a Police Officer from 1987-1995 therefore, have experience in emergency medical situations. I cared for both my mother and father during their aging years as their physical abilities and health deteriorated. I do know working with the elderly can be challenging but I find it rewarding and I always learn so much from older people.
