Cared for my own aging parents and then oversaw caregiver for my Mom. I am looking more to assist seniors who are still capable but just need a little help. I spent quite a few years taking my parents to doctor's appointments, shopping and solving small issues in the home. I reviewed and helped them select their supplementary and prescription plans. I am especially capable with doctor's appointments, being someone who understands medical terms, can ask questions and be the "memory bank" for the patient [if they are okay with me going in to exam room with them.] I understand how difficult it is for grown children to take time away from work and their own families to help Mom or Dad. Consider me your helper. I will consider various rates and distances depending on the situation.
