I recently spent 14 months (private hire) caring for an elderly couple F/T in their home. As 24/7 care was needed as he presented an extreme fall risk, overnights and other hours were provided through an agency.
This couple also had all of the needs expected of a CNA. I provided all of their life management needs, including quality of life diversions. Food prep, housekeeping, medication management, ordering and administration of most transportation needs, help with mobility issues, dementia, hygiene, dressing, etc., etc.
During my employment there, I provided all CNA care, yet certification is yet to be completed. In spite of that, I feel my skills, compassion, humor and dedication to the elderly make me very qualified to provide care for your family.
