I have extensive knowledge and experience working with the elderly and mentally disabled. Since I was a young girl, I grew up volunteering in nursing homes and as I got older- the time came that my own family members also needed my help. I provided care for my grandmother who had alzheimers and care for my grandfather who had lung cancer. Since then, I have done nothing but provide care and companionship to countless clients who impacted my life each in their own very special way. Working in this field is very rewarding work and I don't exactly consider it a 'job' per say, because I enjoy doing it. Also, I have a large family and was raised babysitting a lot of cousins and other family members younger then I. I was blessed with a beautiful neice 9mo ago, and she holds the key to my heart!! I love spending time with her and watching her grow. In addition to my love for interacting with all age groups of people and providing companionship and care- I am also a huge animal lover!!! I have a 12 year old pug, who my fiancé and I rescued 10 years ago when he was left behind by his previous owners!! He was visibly beaten and abused by them, but now he lives the life of a king!! He deserves it!!!
