Hello! My name is Spencer, and I'm a special needs caregiver and job coach.
I am currently a shift supervisor at ACT Spooner House in Shelton, where I work with homeless families, connecting them to resources for housing, transportation, and health care, as well as providing counseling and job coaching. I was previously a job coach/paraprofessional in Fairfield Public Schools, where I supervised students aged 18-21 with moderate to severe disabilities in school and on job sites, and taught basic life skills.
I have a bachelor's degree in social work from Sacred Heart University. I'm currently looking for extra work while I apply to nursing school, and am passionate about working with kids, especially those with special needs.
