As a Care Companion, I can assist in all daily routines and activities. In my experience as a Caregiver the daily routines with my patients include:
hygiene care - brushing teeth, bathing and showering.
nutrition - cooking and feeding.
medication - reminders and administration.
activities - indoor (cards, board games, TV, art, etc.)
outdoor (gardening, walking, etc.)
For my quadriplegic patients I also assist in I.C. relieving urine and sanitizing bag and bowel movement program.
We enjoyed running errands to post office, the grocery store, doctors visit, and shopping at malls.
