Kathy S. Care Companion in Stratford, CT 06614

I just generally love people, and I have recently had experience helping my elderly dad at home and then helping him and fellow residents in a nursing home.  I am kind and friendly and compassionate and fun to be with. Since I wrote the previous part of this bio, I have gotten a lot more experience. I was a companion for an 87-year-old man and did a lot with him. We went on walks, played card games, watched his favorite tv shows. I fixed his lunch and monitored his medications. I have also worked as an activity planner at a senior retirement residence. I came up with fun classes and activities and day trips. I also worked as a concierge at another residence in another state. Then I had my own business helping elderly with driving, shopping, errands, chores, fun outtings and companionship. I think my specialty is helping to make life fun and enriched and also keeping track of the details of their lives.
