I am from Nigeria, family of 7. when I came to the country, was opportuned to work with a family I met at church, was taking care of their mum for 8months, I assisted with ADL,I loved the job and decided to go to school for it,so I started CNA program, when I really got interested in the job was when I went for clinical, it was a very lovely experience taking care of old people and hoping to grow old also one day...... really love the job because it gives you the opportunity to interact with elderly people, to know how they feel and to assist in caring for them. I started working in a group home,assisted with ADL,house keeping etc, and I gained a lot of experience there, and then got a second job where I had to assist an elderly woman with her need.i also learnt that it pays to serve humanity. I just relocate to connecticut few weeks ago. Hope to get this job and promise to serve you better.
